CCMS Tips

If you are exercising delegated functions on a case because it is urgent, you must inform the LAA when you submit your application. There are two types of application you can make online, Single Stage Emergency and Dual Stage Emergency.

The Single Stage application is used when you have all the relevant information to support the clients application but have urgent work to carry out whilst the LAA assess the application. You will need to answer Yes that you have used delegated functions on this matter. For further information please see the Single Stage Emergency Application quick guide.

The Dual Stage application is used when you have urgent work to carry out but do not have all the supporting information at that time to support the substantive application. This means you can submit an Emergency application and once the LAA have processed this, you must then submit a substantive amendment within 5 working days.  For further information please see the Emergency and Delegated Functions Application quick guide.
